ok... here it is for real.... special thanks to Keith for hosting the image.... hopefully i'll figure out what's going on with Hello by the time the new strip is finished (and fyi: it's about 75% finished...)

Well, I'm one of the lucky few who was able to see the mysterious missing image via your e-mail. Hopefully you can figure out whatever this problem is that's keeping you from displaying the image on your blog. I'm also one of the lucky few (perhaps the only one other than you?) who knows what SOB will be about, and I'm giddy, giddy like a school girl! Weeeeeeee!!!

although I'm not sure what dynamic crap blogspot uses to link to images.

yes, well... the short version is this: Hello, the program blogspot provides for adding pics to your blog has been acting up on me, so i attempted an unorthodox method of posting my image... it worked at first, then after a few minutes it worked never again... and because the link had some potentially sensitive information in it and i didn't want people like you (meaning people who know about looking at things like links) to have access to that information, i mangled the link... and if you're saying to yourself, "how is that the short version?" then you obviously don't know me very well, because, trust me, i could make it very, very, very long....
